Abstract:

To reduce an impact on the hand of a player and to maintain a good control when striking a ball.

A tennis racket is made of a continuous fiber reinforced resin. A part of a shaft member in the longitudinal direction is provided with a buffer area, in which a ratio of the reinforced fiber which has an angle of 0°-10° and 80°-90° with respect to the central axis of the shaft is 75% or more of all the reinforced fiber of the area. The ratio of reinforced fiber having an angle of 0°-10° is form 50% to 90% of the reinforced fiber having an angle of 0°-10° and 80°-90°. The length in the direction of the shaft axis in the buffer area is 6cm or more.
