Title:
TENSION CONTROL DEVICE OF SUBMARINE CABLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS558932
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent a submarine cable from slackening or tightening too much by detecting the tidal speed on the working sea and the depth of the sea where an operating machine is set and by controlling tension of the submarine cable.

CONSTITUTION: The actual tidal speed v and the depth of the sea d are input through a logical circuit 10 and the address of a memory circuit 12 is determined on the basis of these signals. The determined address is ratched by an address part 11 and the value assigned by this address is read out of the memory circuit 12 and ratched by a ratch circuit 13. The ratched value by a ratch circuit 13 is converted into analog signals by a digital-analog converter 14 and then is added to the solenoid of a pressure proportional valve 17 as a tension command signal S through an amplitude 15. The hydraulic motor 24 of a winch rotates in response to the relief pressure of the pressure proportional valve 17 and controls the cable tension by this pressure.
