In the tension device, a prestress is applied on the tension rope in the winding direction in the housing, and the tension rope is connected to a winding roller 11 rotatably supported on an axis line in the winding direction. The damping device 30 has a gear element connected to the winding roller 11 so as to drive, for example, a gear 31, and the gear is non-rotatably connected to a braking means for braking an inertia rotation of the winding roller 11 at least winding direction.
