PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a device for tentering and squeezing especially a wet circular knitted fabric, in which the drive of a squeezing role is carried out by a following pinion engaging with a driving wheel, and the following pinion is connected to the squeezing roller through a force-transmission device, so that the movement of the squeezing roller may be guaranteed to move without slip.
SOLUTION: This device for tentering and squeezing especially a wet circular knitted fabric has each one rotatably driven supporting ring 2 and 2' at the upper end and the lower end, and a rotatably driven driving wheel 5 rotatably held by a circular supporting system 1 arranged on parallel with the supporting rings. The device also has a circular knitted fabric-tentering device having a tentering roller surrounded by the supporting rings 2 and 2', and the driving wheel 5, and capable of changing the position in the radius direction, and fixed to roller bearings supporting at least two facing rolls of the squeezing device, and at least one rotating driven squeezing roll 3 mutually acting on at least two facing rolls and held by a pressurizing cylinder 25 fixed to the supporting system 1. Further, the force transmission means consists of a cardan shaft 12 or a flexible shaft.
