Abstract:

To provide materials and methods for the utilization of the specific interaction of replication termination sequences (Ter site) with their binding proteins in molecular biology applications.

The isolated nucleic acid molecule is operated so as to contain the whole or parts of at least two Ter-sites bondable with a Ter binding protein. The modified Ter binding protein, and the solid supporter containing at least one oligonucleotide containing the whole or parts of the Ter sites or further containing the Ter binding protein besides them are also provided.
