Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an ISDN terminal adaptor by which power source control can be efficiently performed by supplying a power source to a user terminal only while communication is being performed.
CONSTITUTION: A terminal adaptor TA 1, when detecting the connection of a line. sends out a signal from an I/O control part 7 to a relay switch 4, and turns on the switch, and connects the power source from an AC outlet 3 to a terminal TE 2. When the line is cut off, the I/O control part 7 disconnects the power source to the TE 2 by turning off the relay switch 4 after the lapse of constant time. A user can perform the on/off operation of the TE 2 manually by a manual power source application switch 5 when no communication is performed.
