Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make the withstand voltage test and sequence test of a terminal block with an attachment by detachably mounting the connector type attachment, whereto one of adapters can be connected, onto the electric wire connecting terminal block, and then changing the one adapter having already connected to the same attachment for another so that the terminal block is easily connected to a testing device via the same attachment.
CONSTITUTION: A crimp-style terminal at the tip of an electric wire 3 is nipped between a terminal board 1 and a terminal screw 4 threadedly attached to a washer 2 so as to be fixed to a terminal block 5, and then a detachable connector type testing attachment (At) 6 is mounted onto the terminal block 5. Each tab terminal 9 having its plural connecting portions being connected respectively to both a withstand voltage testing short-circuit adapter 7 and a sequence testing adapter 8 branched from one terminal connecting portion being connected to the terminal block 5 is installed in the attachment (At) 6, and also each one- terminal connecting adapter 10 is connected to the adapter 7 or 8 so that the adapter 7 or 8 with plural adapters 10 may be connected electrically to the terminal block 5. The terminal block 5 can thus be connected without difficulty to a testing device via the same attachment (At) 6 so as to make the withstand voltage test and sequence test of the terminal block 5 by only making the changeover connection of the one adapter 7 or 8 to the same attachment (At) 6.
