To easily enable the inspection of a detection switch by providing a lamp circuit capable of lighting a lamp in a terminal box main body and by connecting the terminal of the lamp circuit to the terminal of the detection switch.
This detection switch (proximity switch) 30 opens terminals 30a and 30b when a metal is not close to it. A power source 15 carries current through a rectifier S of a lamp circuit so that a lamp (LED) L is lit by a rectified direct-current power supply. The lamp circuit is so designed that a current i consumed by the lamp circuit flows through an output detector 20 at this time but the current i is set so as not to activate the output detector 20. When the detection switch 30 detects a metal, the terminals 30a and 30b carry current and junction terminals 2A and 2B also carry current. Thereby, the output detector 20 carries current more than the current i and is activated through a relay. Potential differences are not generated in the rectifier S so that the lamp L is extinguished and the normal conditions can be confirmed.
