Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal connection structure of a dynamo-electric machine for preventing water from coming inside even when there is a gap caused by a difference of coefficient of thermal expansion between a junction box for terminal connection and a filler charged inside.
SOLUTION: The junction box 12 has an inner surrounding sidewall 24 lower in height than an outer circumferential sidewall 14 and filled with a filler 26 and the filler 26 is solidified in a state. The inner sidewall is buried with the filler 26, and each part stored in the junction box 12 and the connection part are covered. A labyrinth structure is formed among the outer circumferential sidewall 14, the inner sidewall 24 and the filler 26, and a gap between the outer circumferential sidewall 14 and the inner sidewall 24 functions as a gutter. As a result, the water can hardly come into the junction box 12 even when a gap is caused by a difference of coefficient of thermal expansion between the outer circumferential sidewall 14 and the filler 26. Then, a defect in insulation or a defect in connection at the joining part can be prevented.
