Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal for a connector, whose metal base material is made of a Cu-Fe series alloy and capable of improving corrosion resistance even when a bending processing part is provided.SOLUTION: A terminal 1 for a connector is constituted of a terminal material 2 having a plating film 22 on the surface of a metal base material 21. The terminal 1 for the connector has a bending processing part 3 formed by bending and processing the terminal material 2. The metal base material 21 is made of a Cu-Fe series alloy. The bending processing part 3 includes: a base material exposure part 31 whose plating film 22 is cracked by bending processing and which is formed by exposing the metal base material 21; and a coated film 32 made of rust preventive oil covering the surface of the base material exposure part 31.
