Abstract:
To provide a terminal block that is freely adaptable to a wiring direction both in a longitudinal direction and a lateral direction.SOLUTION: The terminal block is provided that comprises: an insulating block having a step part having height varying in a stepwise manner in a longitudinal direction; lead wire connection terminals provided on respective steps of the step part; and a terminal cover that is fitted with the insulating block and covers the lead wire connection terminals. The terminal cover has an approximately rectangular parallelepiped shape having one open surface and comprises a pair of short wall surfaces and a pair of long wall surfaces. The pair of short wall surfaces has an aperture through which a lead wire is passed when a wiring direction of the lead wire is a longitudinal direction. The pair of long wall surfaces has a first wall surface covering the lead wire connection terminals when the wiring direction of the lead wire is the longitudinal direction and a second wall surface having a gap part through which the lead wire is passed when the wiring direction of the lead wire is a lateral direction. The terminal cover can be fitted to the insulating block by replacing first wall surface and the second wall surface with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
