Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crimp tool which includes a function for temporarily fixing a terminal at the right angle and position between female and male molds and is capable of maintaining the function stably at low cost and for a long time.SOLUTION: A terminal crimp tool comprises: a female mold 2 and a male mold 3 of which at least one becomes movable and which are capable of crimping a terminal W of an electric distribution line through which a lead wire is passed, to the lead wire by relatively and reciprocally moving with the terminal interposed therebetween; and a fluid pressure drive source that imparts a driving force for relative and reciprocal movement. The terminal crimp tool comprises a coil spring 4 which is wound so as to surround an outer peripheral surface of the male mold 3 and of which one end is fixed to a proximal 31 of the male mold 3 and the other end is made free. In a free state, the free end of the coil spring 4 is closer to the female mold 2 than a distal end of the male mold 3 and keeps a distance that is shorter than an outer diameter of the terminal W, between the coil spring and a bottom of the female mold 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
