Title:
TERMINAL DEVICE AND ITS MANUFACTURING PROCESS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS54134389
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable mass production of terminal devices for electrical machine bodies which are not removed at any temperatures and of which quality is stabilized by engaing the terminals formed by retention of shape alloys in their insertion holes of the machines.

CONSTITUTION: The terminal 1 is fabricated by such retention of shape alloys as Ni-Ti alloys. Its engagement section 1a processed at normal temperatures and protrudes at the edge. Then, it is processed at normal temperatures in the same way. The engagement section 1a is housed into the terminal insertion hole 2a of the electrical machinery 2 so as not to protrude along with the side edge of the terminal 1 when it is pressed traversely. The whole electrical machinery 2 is put into a heating furnace and heat-treated exceeding critical temperatures. The engagement section 1a returns to the first shape and engages with the concave 2b of the terminal insertion hole 2a. This prevents the engagement section 1a from being removed from the machinery 2 at any temperatures and permits the terminal 1 to firmly to be retained. Especially, this permits it to firmly be retained on such electrical machine bodies as ceramic and the terminal devices with shabilized quality to be produced massively.
