Abstract:
To provide a terminal device that offers enhanced convenience in user authentication using Bluetooth.
A terminal device (1) comprises: a reception unit (11) for receiving a Bluetooth signal transmitted from a portable terminal (2) carried by a user; an intensity measurement unit (12) for measuring radio wave intensity of the received Bluetooth signal; and a use permission unit (14) for giving use permission to the user of the portable terminal (2) on the condition that the radio wave intensity is greater than a predetermined value as a result of measurement.
