Abstract:
PURPOSE: To facilitate the insertion work of roll paper by providing a member for positioning the roll paper in the open state of a roll paper cover with respect to the roll paper insertion port of a terminal machinery main body and rotating the roll paper when the roll paper cover is closed to let the same fall to a roll paper receiving part.
CONSTITUTION: A roll paper cover 7 is rotated around a fulcrum pin 13 so as to be positioned behind a terminal machinery main body 1 to open a roll paper receiving part 5. Roll paper P is placed on the inside of the roll paper cover 7 and supported by positioning members 14, 15 so that the position thereof is set in lateral and vertical directions to keep the distance of the roll paper up to a roll paper insertion hole 13 constant. Next, the leading end of the roll paper P is drawn out from the underside thereof to be inserted in the roll paper insertion hole 13 and allowed to protrude from a roll paper discharge port 4 by a paper feed mechanism. Thereafter, the roll paper cover 7 is rotated around the fulcrum pin 13 and the roll paper P is rotated to be allowed to fall to the roll paper receiving part 5. By adjusting the height of the fulcrum pin 13 and that of the positioning member 15, the roll paper P can be received without slackening the roll paper P.
