Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine the kind of necessary line cards and the number of them from the kind of the line cards and the number of lines by referring to a line card defining table and a communication equipped defining table and automatically determining the kind, the number and the mounting position of the line card to be mounted to each communication equipment.
SOLUTION: A user inputs the number of pieces of communication equipment constituting a system from an inputting means 6 and additionally inputs the kind and the number of necessary line cards by each communication equipment. A system constructing means 5 decides the kind of the necessary line cards and the number of them by each communication equipment based on the information inputted by the user and a line card defining table 2. Next, a communication equipment defining table 3 is referred to and the kind of loadable communication equipment is decided by the kind of the necessary line cards and the number of them. In addition, the mounting position of the line cards in the decided communication equipment is decided and information of these is stored in a system constituting table 4.
