Abstract:
To allow a terminal device to acquire positional information on a movable body holding its own terminal device from a roadside device without confusing positional information on other movable bodies when positional information on movable bodies acquired using a radar is transmitted to terminal devices held by the respective movable bodies.SOLUTION: A roadside device 5 detects a movable body on a road by a radar 51 to acquire positional information on the movable body, and transmits a message including the positional information on the movable body from a communication antenna 55 by a transmission beam whose transmission direction is limited to a direction where the movable body detected by the radar exists. When a terminal device receives a plurality of messages transmitted from communication antennas of two roadside devices, it acquires positional information included in the messages as positional information on its own device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
