Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the terminal equipment of which the manufacture cost is reduced and by which sound volume in a telephone function is adjusted very easily without the need for troublesome operation.
SOLUTION: A facsimile equipment as the terminal equipment has a telephone function that makes a speech via a receiver in a line closing state. The facsimile equipment is provided with a control section that discriminates whether or not the line closing state is set. The control section operates prescribed keys 16a, 16b on an operation panel unit 15 as sound volume adjustment keys in the case of the line closing state and allows the keys 16a, 16b to act like function keys for resolution change and incoming mode change when the line is not closed.
