A terminal fitting 10 is provided with a cylindrical body portion 11 in which a male tab 91 on a counterpart side can be inserted from a front side. In the body portion 11, an elastic contact piece 22 elastically contacting with the male tab 91 is formed so as to bend. A contacting portion 32 for receiving the male tab 91 is fixed and formed at a position opposing to the elastic contact piece 22. The contacting portion 32 has a part made by folding an extension part to a back side on an outer wall of the body portion 11 to an inner front side. On an outer surface of the folded part of the contacting portion 32, an R portion 41 of a curved surface shape is formed.
