Abstract:
To provide a terminal fitting which ensures to engage an electric contact part with a cap member held by the electric contact part.
A terminal fitting 1 includes: an electric contact part 6 which is provided at one end side, is formed into a cylindrical shape, and allows a counter terminal to fit thereinto; an electric wire connection part 9 provided at the other end and to which an electric wire is crimped; and a cap member 3 fitting into a tip of the electric contact part 6 and held by the tip. A first engagement part 28, engaging with the cap member 3, is provided at the tip of the electric contact part 6, and a second engagement part 41, engaging with the first engagement part 28, is provided at the cap member 3.
