Abstract:

To provide a terminal fitting capable of reducing workload.SOLUTION: A female terminal fitting 1 includes a pair of sidewall parts (first sidewall part 14 and second sidewall part 15) arranged oppositely to each other, a square cylinder part 11 including a bottom wall part 12 and a top wall part 13 coupling the pair of sidewall parts 14, 15, and a first diagonally wound coil spring 20A and a second diagonally wound coil spring 20B placed in the square cylinder part 11. The first diagonally wound coil spring 20A is placed along the bottom wall part 12, and electrically connected with the square cylinder part 11, and can come into elastic contact with a tab part T. The second diagonally wound coil spring 20B is placed along the top wall part 13, and electrically connected therewith, and can come into elastic contact with the tab part T. The first sidewall part 14 has an insertion slit 16, and the second sidewall part 15 has an extraction slit 17.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
