Title:
TERMINAL FITTING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH10284139
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a terminal fitting which can be accommodated automatically by a simple operation, by bending plural cuts each of which has a top with an acute angle at its end, so that a conical or pyramidal protrusion is formed in a center and also a slit fix a lead wire to be inserted is formed between each of the cuts.

A terminal fitting 1 has 6 pieces of cuts 2 each of which keeps an equal angle to a center point. By bending a top with an acute angle at an end of the cut 2 toward the center point, each cut 2 becomes tapered toward the center point, so that its center becomes a pyramidal protrusion. At this time, a slit 3 is formed between each of the cuts 2, 2, and a lead wire is inserted in the slit 3. Thereby, the terminal fitting 1 can be connected only by hooking the lead wire on the slit 3. That is, since the lead wire can be hooked easily by sliding it, bundling work can be simplified and the process can be automated.
