Abstract:
PURPOSE: To simultaneously perform the secondary locking of a terminal and the deformation prevention of a primary locking lance, and increase the terminal locking force.
CONSTITUTION: A housing bottom wall 17 has a terminal locking lance 20 and a terminal locking member inserting opening 13, and a terminal locking protruding part from the suspended wall part of a terminal locking member 3 is brought into contact with the protruding piece of a terminal. The terminal locking protruding part is formed of a pair of protruding plates 7a, 7b, and a pair of contact stepped parts 27 to the terminal locking protruding plates are notched on both side pats of the locking lance 20. The suspended wall part is formed of suspended wall plates 6a, 6b having a space narrower than the space of the terminal locking protruding plates 7a, 7b, the suspended wall plates have temporary locking projections 11, 12, engaging protruding walls 18 are formed on the side edge parts of the opening 13 in conformation to the suspended wall plates, a narrow wall 19 vertically crossing the opening is stood on the bottom wall 17, and a groove part 8 between the suspended wall plates is engaged with the narrow wall.
