Abstract:

Terminal machines 51, 52,... are arranged correspondingly to respective beds in a hospital and enable loads to be used by prepaid cards. In this card system, known numbers related to terminal machines 51, 52,..., for example, numbers of beds corresponding to terminal machines 51, 52,... are set as logical numbers of addresses peculiar to terminal machines 51, 52,.... Data is communicated between the host 41 and terminal machines 51, 52,... by physical numbers 1, 2,... corresponding to logical numbers of addresses of terminal machines 51, 52,....
