PURPOSE: To prevent breakage caused by an overcurrent in equipment due to the short-circuit of a measurement terminal even when an external resistance is not connected to the terminal for measurement in series by incorporating a high resistor in the holding part of the measurement terminal.

CONSTITUTION: The measurement terminal 1 composed of a conductor and a connection pin 4 which connects a wire material and a pattern are held at both ends of the holding part 2 made of a nonconductive member respectively and fitted on a panel or substrate. The resistor 3 with high resistance is connected in the holding part 2 to between the measurement terminal 1 and connection pin 4 and molded so that it is incorporated in the holding part 2. Consequently, the resistor 3 incorporated in the holding part 2 is connected to the measurement terminal of a measuring instrument in series and then operates as a current limiting resistance for a current flowing in the measuring instrument.
