Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid having effects from being made onto terminal equipments after a digital service unit(DSU) by connecting the controller between a protector and the DSU (at point LI).
SOLUTION: The controller is provided with a 1st LI point connection means 9 connection to an interface LI point of an ISDN line, a 2nd LI connection means 10 connecting to an interface point LI of a DSU 2, a terminal connection means 11 connecting to a terminal equipment 8 for communication, and an exchange means 12 that exchanges frames arbitrarily among the 1st LI point connection means 9, the 2nd LI point connection means 10 and the terminal connection means 11. Thus, the comunicatin between the ISDN line and the terminal equipment 8 is made, via the 1st LI point connection means 9 and the terminal connection means 11 and the communication between the terminal equipment at the DSU side and the terminal equipment 8 is made via the 2nd LI point connection means 10 and the terminal connection means 11.
