Title:
TERMINAL STATION FOR WIRE COMMUNICATION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06197160
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a terminal station for wire communication which terminates lines connected with terminal stations and can easily meet various conditions imposed upon the terminating impedance of the terminal station. CONSTITUTION: A terminating impedance Zs of a terminal station 1 is made be match a fixed line impedance Z1 by means of a control circuit 5. The circuit 5 has an EEPROM 13, which stores the information on a control signal which biases a line coupling circuit 4 connected to the circuit 5 and the coupling circuit 4 realizes a terminating impedance Zs which can be biased in the form of a switch-type capacitor filter 23, preferably. The EEPROM 13 is constituted, so that the EEPROM 13 may be reprogrammed easily in such a manner that the terminal station can meet the condition of specific network management to the terminating impedance Zs , when the manufacture is switched to a terminal station compatible with the network management.
