A method for manufacturing a wire harness includes: fixing a terminal fitting 1 to a coated electric wire 5 so that the coating electric wire 5 and the terminal fitting 1 are electrically connected at an exposed core wire part 20e of an aluminum core wire 20; then bending a separated coat part 21t to the exposed core wire part 20e side and arranging the separated coat part 21t above the exposed core wire part 20e; and lastly carrying out ultrasonic weld processing for the separated coat part 21t to deform the melted separated coat part 21t, thereby forming a corrosion prevention part 3 covering the entire exposed core wire part 20e.
