The tip end of a wire connection part 12 of a terminal 1 is provided with a hooking groove 22 for pinching a wire 21. The wire 21 which is to be hooked is so configured as to be positioned while abutting with an interior edge 23, and a positioning part 24 for positioning the wire 21 at the interior part of the hooking groove 22 is set. The abut position to which electrodes 31 and 31 are abutted is configured on both side edges of a wire connection part 12, and protrusions 33 and 33 protruding from general parts 32 and 32 are provided at the abut position. The protrusions 33 and 33 are provided on both sides of the hooking groove 22, and an imaginary line 34 connecting the centers of both protrusions 33 and 33 is so set as to pass the positioning part 24 of the hooking groove 22. The wire 21 positioned with the positioning part 24 is arranged on an energizing path 35 where a current flows between both the protrusions 33 and 33.
