Abstract:

To provide a terminal supporting apparatus which can suppress the transmission of vibration.

This terminal supporting apparatus 10 supports at least one end of a control cable having an inner cable and an outer cable into which the inner cable is inserted. The terminal supporting apparatus 10 includes: a hub 12 attached to an end of the outer cable and having a flange at its outer periphery; a cushion member 14 arranged so as to surround the outer periphery of the hub and abutting against both front and back surfaces of the flange; and a housing 17 having an accommodating part for accommodating the cushion member. When a clearance between the cushion member and the accommodating member in a direction perpendicular to their axes is expressed by C, an inequality 0.1 mm≤C≤0.8 mm is satisfied. Furthermore, an inequality 9.5 mm≤X_C≤13.5 mm is satisfied when a length of the cushion member along the axial direction is expressed by X_C.
