PURPOSE: To perform a treatment corresponding to various sizes and strip lengths of wire material by combining together two-step close movement of blade mainframes, clamping action of clampers and two-step sliding action of the clampers, while controlling operational quiantities of those actions.

CONSTITUTION: A pair of upper and lower blade mainframes 1, 2 are opposed to each other by interposing the feed line of wire material W therebetween, and on the right and left sides of the wire material W, that is, on the right and left sides of the blade mainframes 1, 2 together clampers 6, 7 are arranged to clamp the wire material W. By combining the two-step close movement of the blade mainframes 1, 2, the clamping action of the clampers 6, 7 and the two-step sliding action of the clampers 6, 7, so as to perform terminal treatment of the wire material W while controlling those operational quantities. It is thus possible to set the cutting amount and the strip length of the coated portion of the wire material W optionally and perform a treatment corresponding to various sizes and strip lengths of wire material.
