Title:
TERMINAL TREATMENT OF SURFACE LAYER MEMBER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03244524
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To produce a product which has a good and beautiful terminal shape and is high in value as a surface layer member by forming an upper blade and a lower blade to the tip part of a sliding mold while providing the interval and pushing the terminal of the surface layer member by actuation of the sliding mold and thereafter cutting a core material with the upper blade and also cutting the surface layer with the lower blade while leaving an excess part.

CONSTITUTION: An actuator is actuated at the same time as finish of lowering of a top force 31. A sliding mold 36 is pushed into a bottom force 32 side and the tip part of a door trim is stuck and molded. At this time, an upper blade 38 is not allowed to abut against a bottom force 32 and a slight gap is held. Further only a core material 29 is cut by the material having a curved face to the tip part and the surface layer material 28 is not cut. On the other hand, a lower blade 40 is allowed to strongly abut against the step part 35 of the bottom force 32 and the tip part is worked into a sharp swordlike edge. Therefore the material 30 to be worked is completely cut. As a result, the upper R part 22 and the main body part are formed in the door trim 21. The extra part 41 of only a surface layer material 28 is formed to the terminal part 24 furthermore being the tip of the tip part of the upper R part 22.
