PURPOSE: To keep the uniformity of a leading characteristic and a trailing characteristic of a signal without increase in number of components by forming the termination circuit with a matching termination resistor and a noninverting buffer circuit.
CONSTITUTION: A termination circuit consists of a matching termination resistor 1 and a noninverting buffer circuit 2. Since the circuit 2 has a longer delay time than a signal change time, the termination circuit is equivalent to the resistor 1 of the termination circuit connected between the termination and ground at the rising of a signal. Furthermore, the termination circuit is equivalent to the resistor 1 of the termination circuit connected between the termination and a power supply at the falling of the signal. Thus, the one matching termination resistor 1 is equivalent to two resistors of the termination circuit to suppress the reflection of the signal at the termination. Furthermore, the uniformity of a leading characteristic and a trailing characteristic of a signal is maintained.
