Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide bio-based polycarbonate intermediate transfer members that are free from toxic chemicals and possess excellent characteristics such as an acceptable elastic modulus, a low coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) and excellent mechanical properties, where the bio-based polycarbonate is readily released from substrates such as steel.SOLUTION: An intermediate transfer member includes a terpene polycarbonate 3, an optional polysiloxane 5, and an optional conductive filler component 6.
