Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel method for separating and acquiring terpene such as ferruginol from a cedar material dryness tar component or a cedar material chip with high selectivity and efficiency.SOLUTION: Provided is the separation acquisition method of terpene from a cedar material dryness tar component or a cedar material chip, in which a mixture solvent of water and a high-boiling point solvent is added to the tar component or the chip for distillation, and then distillated fractions of the water and the solvent are acquired, namely steps of adding a solvent and distillation.
