EXAMPLE: N-(p-tert-Butylbenzyl)-1-naphthalenemethylamine.
USE: A germicide for farm and garden, exhibiting excellent action to disease caused by a phytopathogenic mold, e.g. gray mold, powdery mildew, sclerotinia rot and exhibiting no damage to the action by the agent to the action.
PREPARATION: A compound expressed by formula IV is reacted with a compound expressed by the formula X-CH2-C≡C-R3 (X is halogen) in a solvent such as N,N-dimethylformamide, as necessary in the presence of a base (e.g. sodium carbonate) at room temperatureW100°C to provide the aimed compound expressed by formula I.
