EXAMPLE: N-Methyl-N-(4-phenyldimethylsilylbenzyl)-1-naphthaleneme-thylamine.
USE: An active ingredient of fungicide for agriculture and garden having both of preventing effect and treating effect, exhibiting excellent effect to Deuteromycotina, Basidiomycetes and Ascomycetes such as gray mold, glume blotch, blast and helminthosporium leaf spot and exhibiting no phytotoxicity to crops such as vegetable, rice, wheat and fruit tree.
PREPARATION: For example, a compound expressed by formula II is reacted with a compound expressed by the formula X-R3 (X is halogen) in an organic solvent in the presence of a base to provide the compound expressed by formula I.
