To obtain a contact pin device in which a pair of electrode tabs of thin-plate shape extending from a battery body can be pinched certainly and without giving a stress to the battery body.
The contact pin device is constructed of a contact pin 20, a compression spring 21, and a support plate 22. The contact pin 20 is composed of a pressing part 20a of disk shape and a shaft body 20b extending integrally from the center of the pressing part, and a coaxial tapped hole 23 is opened from one end in the shaft body 20b. The support plate 22 is made of metal and has a hole 22a in the center. The diameter of the hole 22a is larger than that of the shaft body 20b. The compression coil spring 21 is penetrated through the shaft body 20b and by compressing the spring, it is put in the hole 22a of the support plate, and then, by inserting a washer 24 for pull stop, a screw 25 is screwed in the tapped hole 23 at the shaft end for tightening.
