Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable of accurately and simply measuring bile acid containing in a body fluid without accepting the influence of coexisting biological components, by carrying a specific reagent composition and two kinds of additives on the identical positions of a carrier comprising a polymeric raw material. CONSTITUTION:Three materials of (A) a reagent composition comprising 3alpha- hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase, nicotinamide-adenine dinucleotide (phosphate), diaphorase and tetrazolium salt, (B) >= one additive I selected from ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, ethylene glycol(beta-aminoethyl ether)-N,N,N',N'- tetracetic acid and alkali metal salts thereof and (C) >= one additive II selected from a group comprising oxamic acid, pyruvic acid, oxalic acid, 8-chloro-4- hydroxy-5-methylquinoline-3-carboxylic acid and salts thereof are carried on the identical positions of a carrier.
