To provide a test system for the proper capability evaluation of an electric power steering by correct simulation of the grant of the steerage reaction force in mounting an electric power steering device in an actual vehicle.
On the basis of a vehicles simulation model including the relation between a steering angle, road speed, and steerage reaction force. The steerage reaction force according to the detection steering angle and the input road speed of a steering wheel 2 of an electric power steering device 1 is searched for. By controlling an actuator 31 of load grant mechanism 30, the load corresponding to the steerage reaction force searched for is given to a power steering force outputting part 7a of the electric power steering device 1. In order that the auxiliary steering power according to the input road speed and the detected steering torque are generated, a motor 10 for auxiliary steering power generation of the electric power steering device 1 is controlled.
