Abstract:

To solve the problem in which conventional test equipment and materials tend to be energy inefficient and inflexible.SOLUTION: A test system is provided that includes a fluid circuit and a reactor having a test zone for an item under test. A plurality of control zones are included in the fluid circuit for controlling fluid parameters according to control information. The control system receives input data specifying test values for the fluid parameters, predicts fluid behavior using the input data and a mathematical model of the reactor, calculates the control information based on the predicted fluid behavior, and communicates the control information to the control zones. The system can simulate transient test conditions, by selective using fluid evacuation and dilution, and by using a temperature and flow bypass circuit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
