PURPOSE: To test a large amount of samples speedily without breaking the testing accuracy and the degree of freedom of the size of the sample by provid ing a plurality of light sources vertically in a testing tank.
CONSTITUTION: A testing light source is obtained by aligning two upper and lower xenon lamps 1 on a vertical line passing approximately the center of a testing tank 2. A pair of sample holding frames 4 for setting a sample 3 are rendered independently rotatable around the respective light sources 1. A spray nozzle tube 5 is provided between each light source 1 and sample holding frame 4 to spray water to the surface of the sample 3, so that the whole surface of the sample rotating around the light source 1 can be uniformly sprayed. Moreover, a heater 6, a cooling device 7 and a humidity generating device 8 are provided adjacent to the test tank 2 to adjust the temperature and humidity within the tank 2. Accordingly, it becomes possible to simultaneous ly test under a plurality of combinations of conditions by one testing machine, and therefore shorten the testing time of various kinds of samples and achieve efficient testing.
