Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a testing method and a testing device by which highly reliable testing results can be obtained, regarding the testing method and the testing device using an inverter for converting DC input to AC output and supplying the AC output to a load.
SOLUTION: The testing method, which uses the inverter 2 for converting the DC input to the AC output and supplying the AC output to the load (an FL tube 4), has the following configuration: The changes of a circuit current are detected through the medium of the magnetic flux changes caused by the changes of the circuit current of the inverter occurring as a result of electric discharge. It is determined whether there is abnormality in a current route including the load or not by the detected results.
