Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a PTFE composition having excellent abrasion resistance and usable as a sliding material without damaging a soft metal such as aluminum used as the sliding counter material.
CONSTITUTION: The tetrafluoroethylene resin composition is produced by adding 1-50vol.% of a stearic acid metal salt having a melting point of ≥180°C such as lithium stearate, calcium stearate and sodium stearate to 50-99vol.% of tetrafluoroethylene resin.
