Abstract:
To provide a fiber reacting compound which dyes cellulose fibers deep blue.
The fiber reacting compound is a salt of a tetrakisazo compound of formula (I) [wherein R1 and R2 are each hydrogen, sulfo, etc.; R3 is hydrogen or alkyl; D is an optionally substituted phenyl or an optionally substituted naphthyl; Y is a specific fiber reacting group, chloro, an optionally substituted pyridinio, etc.; Z is a specific fiber reacting group; A is -NHCO-, -CONH, etc.; B is a group of formula (II) or (III) (wherein * is a bond bound to the azo group; R17 is hydrogen, alkyl, etc.; and p and q are each 0 or 1); and one of X1 or X2 is hydroxy while the other is amino].
