EXAMPLE: 2,2-Dimethyl-4-(2-oxo-1,2-dihydro-1-pyridyl)-6-cyano-1,2- dihydronaphthalene.
USE: A smooth muscle organ relaxation agent.
PROCESS: A tetralin compound represented by formula II [X-Y is a group represented by formula III, CHE-CR3R8 (E is Cl, Br, I or reactively esterified OH) is reacted with a compd. represent by the formula R5-ZH.
