Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a novel compound as an intermediate for producing a novel tetraoxo compound useful for treatment and prevention of diseases or malfunction of the central nervous system.
CONSTITUTION: This compound is represented by formula I or II (wherein R1 is 12C or less alkyl, alkenyl, phenyl or the like; R2 and R3 are each 1-7C alkyl or phenyl, or together form 3-6C alkylene; (n) is 2 to 10; X is halogen, tosylate, sulfate or the like; and Z is 1-piperazinyl). The compound is obtained by reacting a compound represented by formula III with the formula, Y-R5 [wherein Y is X; and R5 is -(CH2)n-X or -(CH2)n-ZH].
