Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:The tetryl derivative expressed by formula.
USE: Useful for the preparation of an anti-tetryl intibody usable for detecting tetryl (a kind of explosive) in blood or air by immunoassay in high sensitivity. The compound is conjugated to a protein (preferably γ-globulin originated from chicken) via a spacer and an anti-tetryl antibody is produced by using the conjugate as an immunogen.
PREPARATION: The objective compound of formula is produced by selectively reducing the N-nitro group of tetryl with hydrogen sulfide.
