To provide a search system automatically searching a unit conforming to a textbook used by a student in the corresponding grade and media such as books carrying items related to the unit when only the name of a school in an educational field area, a grade, and a subject are inputted.

When the local school name, a grade, all/a part of subjects are instructed, matching textbook conformance is extracted by referring to an adoption information table storing a school year, an area, a school name, and textbook conformance matching the subjects, a unit name is extracted to be displayed by referring to a unit table storing the extraction result and unit names for each textbook, and reference book information related to the unit is outputted by referring to a book information table storing the unit names and the reference book names according to the instruction of the unit names.
