Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a papermaking woven fabric having improved stiffness in an oblique direction.SOLUTION: A papermaking woven fabric (2) including a prescribed repeated pattern includes: a travelling surface side woven fabric layer (4) which has a plurality of sets of lower warp yarns (8) with the two of them adjacent to each other as one set, and which has a plurality of lower weft yarns (10) each interweaving with every set of the lower warp yarns; a papermaking surface side woven fabric layer (6) which has upper warp yarns (12) and upper weft yarns (14) interwoven with each other, and which is superposed on the travelling surface side woven fabric layer; and weft self-binding yarns (16) which bind the travelling surface side woven fabric layer and the papermaking surface side woven fabric layer. Each weft self-binding yarn includes: a lower interwoven part (20) where it passes through the lower part, the upper part, and the lower part of the consecutive three of the lower warp yarns one by one, so that the lower warp yarns are interwoven twice; and an upper interwoven part (24) where the upper warp yarns are interwoven.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
